This holiday season, the UMBC American Red Cross Club is collecting various
kinds of item donations to provide to The Samaritan Women, a social service
organization that provides care to human trafficking survivors and strives to
end domestic sex trafficking.
We will be collecting these items from Sunday, November 8th, 2015 through Sunday, December 6th, 2015.
Just look out for boxes marked "UMBC Red Cross Club: The Samaritan Women Drive" throughout resident halls and the Commons!
We will also be tabling on Wednesday, November 17th from 12pm-2pm and Thursday, November 18th from 11am-1pm on Commons Mainstreet (right in front of the bookstore) so come drop off your items then!
Monetary donations are also accepted and will be used to purchase winter clothing for the women in this organization.
Some of the donations needed:
· Bandaids
· Batteries
· Dish soap
· Deodorant
· Feminine pads; tampons
· Hand sanitizer
· K-cups
· Kleenex
· Paper towels
· Toilet paper
· T-shirts, sweatpants
· Tennis shoes
· International/US phone cards
· Gift cards - Target, Walmart, Pizza, Subway
