The Arc trip will involve students serving the mentally and physically disabled population served by the Arc of Carroll County. Participants will accompany the clients of the Arc in various service projects in Carroll County. Students' understanding of adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities will be challenged, and volunteers will learn about common prejudices, stereotypes and social problems that face this demographic.
