Come be part of a press conference for MD clean energy

THE CONFERENCE HAS BEEN MOVED TO FRIDAY, 10-12 BECAUSE OF WEATHER!

Chesapeake Climate Action Network is kicking off their 40% renewable energy campaign. We are asking the MD state assembly to double the Renewable Portfolio Standard from 20% to 40% by 2025. We need student presence at the event, because we are the ones that will be left with the climate change effects of these choices.

I will be speaking at the conference. I am recruiting a few sign-holders for this event. It will be this Friday, 10/17, 10-12ish (transportation included & provided), Canton Waterfront Park in Baltimore. Please email me, awhite2@umbc.edu, if you are interested by Thursday 10/16 at 10am!
