Can Women Have it All?
Discussing the pressures to do it all, work, family, etc
posted almost 11 years ago
This is the topic of the first Rosh Chodesh talk of the semester on January 31st during free hour near the women's center.
Rosh Chodesh is a Jewish Women's holiday, it occurs once every month and celebrates the contributions of Women to society.
Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi is a Jewish Interest Sorority and one of the main ways the sisters indulge this interest is celebrating our own version of this holiday by sponsoring conversations for women, by women, and about women.
Not all of our sisters are Jewish and these events (to me at least) show how I as a non-Jew can show that I value and respect Jewish traditions and culture.
Judaism is a very community base religion and these conversations add depth to the Jewish community here on campus.
All are welcome to attend, to share their stories and ask questions.
