There is an opportunity for interested underrepresented Pre-Med students to attend a microsurgical workshop at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in the Department of Ophthalmology, which will feature surgical skills stations, a Q&A, as well as a tour of the UMSOM campus.

• Lunch will be provided where you will have the opportunity to meet current students, residents, and ophthalmologists.

• This event is exclusively for those who identify as being underrepresented in medicine (Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and Indigenous/Native American) and currently attend or have graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
