SAAAC - Incomplete Grading Project

Project Description
Per conversations of the ASEC and ASAC, there is a request to further explore some technical possibilities that could enhance the incomplete grading procedures in a systematic way. Some of the technical considerations include:
Incomplete Grading Contracts
� Can electronic contracts be implemented such that faculty can specify the terms of agreement?
� Can this information automatically populate in advising notes?
� Can students/faculty/advisors get a copy of the incomplete grading contract via email and/or alerts?
� Can the terms of agreement (specific time limits be set and enforced ?
� Can students and faculty have an I grade summary report and receive reminders about time limits?
Registration/Degree Audit
� Can students be blocked from registering for a course that they currently have an I grade in?
� Can I grades show up on the degree audit?
The items that have changed are:
Status Summary: Prototype for the Fall 2015 was uneventful. Of our prototype group there were 9 faculty members that created the agreements for approx 11 students.
Amanda Knapp is surveying those that used the functionality. Based on the survey results we will determine our next steps.
