SAAAC - Open up advising notes for students

Project Description
Purpose of this project is to create a focus group to analyze and recommend an approach that allows students to view their advising notes, if at all. The outcome of this project, assuming it moves forward, will be a scope definition of how UMBC should roll out advising notes to students and communicate the change(s) and intended purpose to the UMBC community. \r\n\r\nSome questions that were brought up by the committee include:\r\n1) should all notes be available\r\n2) should the student take the notes or should / could the notes be bi-directional\r\n3) will opening up the notes to students change the purpose of advising notes, if so what should be the stated purpose of the notes be\r\n4) Should there be a notes indicator that allows an Adviser to suppress the note from appearing in the students view\r\netc...\r\n
