Project Name

Project Sponsor
Yvette Mozie-Ross
Project Description
FAC - What if roll out for Advisors
The items that have changed are:
End Date: from 09/28/2012 to 10/17/2012 Status Summary: 09/10/2012 We have the delivered what-if working in our test environment. The functionality will be released in October as a new feature in the Advising Center, and will be accessible to Faculty, Staff Advisors and Department Administrators. We can demonstrate the functionality at the September meeting if we???d like. We will also be demonstrating the new functionality at the Fall Advising Community meeting and will request the chance to display it at upcoming UPD and Department Chair meetings
8/10 AEF - UMBC created a mechanism for Advisors to run and view a what-if scenario report exactly as students would see via self service.
After UMBC created the What-if self service function for Advisors, PS delivered what appears to be the same functionality. The PS delivered process and report is being analyzed by the registrars office and it looks promising. Obviously if the PS delivered What-if for Advisors works and meets UMBC's needs we will move forward with the PS delivered.
