Festivus: A Holiday for All of Us! Come out to the Commons Sports Zone on Friday, December 1st from 4 pm - 7 pm to enjoy delicious foods and student organization performances. Learn about the dozens of holidays coming up -- like Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Gita Jayanti, Mawlid, Yule, and more through various crafts and activities! The event will flow into "Poetry: Food for the Soul" -- a slam poetry competition hosted by the Retriever Poets on the Sports Zone stage.

Support your Retrievers this holiday weekend! Men's Basketball vs. Chicago State; UMBC hosts the campus portion of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament by welcoming Chicago State, Nicholls and Presbyterian on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. 

The Retrievers host Chicago State at noon on Nov. 23, followed by Nicholls and Presbyterian. On Friday, UMBC will play the nightcap of the noon doubleheader.
