Hi Retrievers!
Retriever Essentials has an important announcement! BetweenDecember 25th-January 18th we cannot fill Campus Pantry Orders via the Campus Pantry Order Form.
Though we cannot fill client-specific orders or complete home deliveries due to decreased staffing at this time, you can still pick up pre-prepared and nutritionally-balanced food bags and toiletry bags at the 24-hour Campus Police Station at your convenience.
You can also call 2-1-1 via phone or visit https://211md.org/ to access a variety of basic needs resources in Maryland.
Please email retrieveressentials@umbc.edu if you have any questions or concerns about finding resources during this time. You can also contact the UMBC Campus Police Station by calling 410-455-5555.

Retriever Essentials Update!
Hello everyone!
First of all, we hope you all had a wonderful and safe holiday. Secondly, Retriever Essentials currently has a lot of things going on, and we wanted to share with you!
As you may know, Giving Day is tomorrow, December 1st. Because of our Home for the Holidays Food Drive being such a success, we are low on a lot on a lot of items, including the following:
Toiletries (soap, toothpaste, and deodorant)
Soups (especially vegan and vegetarian soups)
Baby items (formula, diapers, baby food, soap, and lotion)
Feminine health products
Condoms
If you would like to donate to our pantry, items can be dropped off at our 24 hour Campus Police Station or donated contactlessly via our Amazon Wishlist. If using the Amazon wishlist, use the following address and contact information:

Delivery Instructions: This is not College Park. Please deliver to UMBC (on campus). If you have trouble finding the building, please get in touch with 202-704 7840!
The Stay Black and Gold Fund also gives aid to the students of UMBC. Please consider donating to this fund as it helps provide financial support for things such as food, transportation, off-campus rent, medical care, child care, and utilities.
Lastly, we would like to invite you to our Community Dinner on Thursday, December 3rd at 7 PM via Google Meet. We are so thankful for all of the donors and donations who made our food drive possible.

A Special Thank You!
Retriever Essentials wants to give a big thank you to some special people that played a huge role in Home for the Holiday's success.
To our volunteers Fariha, Nyla, Sabrina, and Rebecca, thank you so much for helping get our Thanksgiving bags all together and ready to be given out.
A shoutout to The Chapter of Young Alumni, who raised a total of $813 for our food drive. We are so thankful for their gracious contribution.
And last, but certainly not least, a big thank you to our donors. We appreciate everyone who donated items for our food drive.

Home for the Holidays
Retriever Essentials, UMBC's food pantry, is excited to share that we are offering FREE Thanksgiving Meal Bags to community members in need. If you or your family are in need of Thanksgiving dinner items, please fill out this formby Monday, November 16th. The bags will include some easy-to-prepare, non-perishable, Thanksgiving meal items. The bags will be available for pickup at the 24-hour Campus Police Station between November 23rd and November 25th. *Please email retrieveressentials@umbc.edu if you have any questions or concerns, or if you cannot pick up your Thanksgiving Bag for any reason. We may be able to coordinate home delivery on a case-by-case basis*
