I have recently received multiple concerns from local Catonsville and Arbutus residents regarding the living habits of UMBC students, many of whom only reside in this area during the semesters. Since many students do not think of Catonsville or Arbutus as their permanent residence, this perhaps explains why many of them feel comfortable littering on the streets and committing acts of general hooliganism. UMBC can enrich our local community or it can serve to piss off many of the other residents. Let's try to do more of the former and less of the latter.
