Residential Life is pleased to present the Residential Life Student Success
Scholarship and the Clarence E. Robinson Jr. Memorial Scholarship to assist
residential students financially during academic year 2016, spring semester.
All interested applicants must submit required materials by or before Monday,
October 26, 2015, 11:59pm to Jessica Williams, wjessica@umbc.edu. Several scholarships may
be awarded. Funds will vary based on eligibility.
Residential Life Student Success Scholarship in partnership with UMBC’s cable television contract with Institutional Network Communications assists students who demonstrate significant financial need to remain on-campus residents, who may otherwise be unable to afford housing. It is the intention of Residential Life to be able to offer financial support to assist residential students in their continued education at UMBC at critical points in their academic careers. Scholarship award funds will not exceed the total cost of the housing balance for the semester of application.
Clarence E. Robinson Jr. Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Clarence E. Robinson Jr. and to recognize his many contributions to UMBC. The scholarship is a tribute to his exemplary leadership as Director of Residential Life and as a person.
