- Officiate various intramural events including: football, basketball, volleyball, and soccer

- Attend training sessions for each event - at the conclusion of training each official is expected to know all rules and policies pertaining to each event

- Aid in setting up /taking down of all equipment for events as directed

- Need to be adept in positively interacting with all intramural participants including resolving any conflicts that may arise

- No prior officiating experience necessary but experience and interest in sports is preferred

- Perform all other duties as assigned

UMBC Intramural Race Series will be offering two races this semester. The first race is a 3K Monster Dash that will be held on Wednesday, October 26, starting at 5:30pm.

Races are open to anyone within the UMBC Community (faculty, staff, students)

 Intramurals will be offering two Flag Football leagues this semester. One league will be played on Mon/Wed/Fri from 12pm-5pm on Field 1 inside the stadium. The second league will be played only on Fridays from 12pm-5pm on Field 1 inside the stadium.

Flag Football Manager's Meeting (both leagues): Sept. 19, 2016 in the RAC Room 325 at 12:00 pm.

The meeting will cover responsibilities of the manager, as well as rules for the sport. Teams will not be approved to play without a representative from each team present or meeting with the director at another time. Attending the meeting does not guarantee any team a spot in the intramural sports season. Teams that have their $40 deposit and meet the team minimum number of players will be approved on a first come, first serve basis. All teams must be registered on www.imleagues.com.

Leagues Offered: Mon/Wed/Fri League or Friday only League

Intramurals will be offering an outdor soccer league this semester. Outdoor Soccer will be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights on the Turf inside the stadium from 6pm-10pm.

Registration: Registration for outdoor soccer opens on Friday, September 1, 2017. 

Managers Meeting: Wednesday 9/13/17 at 12:00pm in RAC room 321

Co-Rec Basketball Season Begins: November 1, 2016

 Registration: Registration for Co-Rec Basketball opens on Monday, August 15, 2016. A Co-Rec Basketball Manager's Meeting will be held on Oct. 24, 2016 in the RAC Room 325 at 12:00 pm.

The meeting will cover responsibilities of the manager, as well as rules for the sport. Teams will not be approved to play without a representative from each team present or meeting with the director at another time. Attending the meeting does not guarantee any team a spot in the intramural sports season. Teams that have their $40 deposit and meet the team minimum number of players will be approved on a first come, first serve basis. All teams must be registered on www.imleagues.com.

Leagues Offered: Co-Rec: Two teams of 5 players each shall play the game. (3 males and 2 females or 3 females and 2 males) A team may play with 4 players. If a team falls below 4 players during a game, they may not continue to play.
