I wanted to make you were aware of a Transgender Community Town Hall happening Tomorrow, June 14th at 5:00PM at the University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus.
Transgender Marylanders experience unemployment and homelessness at alarming rates, often due to discrimination. One in five transgender Marylanders has lost their job and one in nine have experienced homelessness. Please join with other concerned citizens, tomorrow, June 14th in a Community Town Hall meeting to explore the issues of homelessness among transgender communities and begin forging a path toward ending homelessness in our communities.
This meeting is open to all community members, service providers, local and state officials. Please see more information below.
