Hi Everybody,
I realized through dealing with something else on campus that the U-Maryland system does not recognize gender identity in their institutional anti-discrimination policy. I think this is definitely a problem...anybody else? I think that we should try to focus on getting a resolution passed by the system that recognizes gender identity. Currently the university system only protects based on perceived sexual orientation: bisexuality, homosexuality and heterosexuality.

I totally agree with you that this is a problem. Is the USM's anti-discrimination clause required to be the same as the State of Maryland's?
