    <div class="html-content"><span><h5><span>THE HUMANITIES RETRIEVERS PROGRAM</span></h5><p><br></p><p><span>A new network for undergraduate students studying the humanities.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>Are you?</span></p><ul><li><p><span>A </span><span>current humanities major or minor</span><span> who wants to get connected to </span><span>information and resources</span><span> about what to do with your degree?</span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>A humanities major or minor who wants </span><span>access to potential opportunities for funding, field trips, and more</span><span>?</span></p></li><li><p><span>A humanities major or minor who wants to be </span><span>connected to other students with similar interests and concerns</span><span>?</span></p></li></ul><p><span>If so, the Humanities Retrievers Program is for you!</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>The Humanities Retrievers is a network offering information, activities, experiences, community engagement, and professional development opportunities.</span></p><ul><li><p><span>It will connect you</span><span> to workshops on how to study abroad, life after graduation, and a whole lot more.</span></p></li><li><p><span>You’ll have the opportunity to </span><span>join teams of fellow students</span><span> to cheer each other on and advance together.</span></p></li></ul><p><span>This semester will feature the following events:</span></p><p><span>Sept. 11th in PAHB, 216, at noon</span><span>- Orientation for interested students.</span></p><p><span>Sept. 18th in PAHB, 216 at noon</span><span>- Fall Workshop #1</span></p><p><span>Oct. 23rd in PAHB, 216 at noon</span><span>- Fall Workshop #2</span></p><p><span>For more information contact </span><span>Dr. Earl Brooks</span><span>, Associate Director, Dresher Center for the Humanities, </span><span><a href="mailto:earlb@umbc.edu">earlb@umbc.edu</a></span><span>.</span></p></span></div>
