As you may already know, today marks the date in 1966 that the first students started classes at UMBC.

We will be celebrating this spectacular event in the RAC from 11:30-1:30 today, with weekend photo highlights; special remarks by UMBC’s first graduate, Robin Mayne ’69, American studies; a State of the University address by President Hrabowski; a picnic lunch, and more.
