In this meeting, we will be addressing:

**REGARDING ACTIVE MEMBER STATUS:
Now that we are 100% online for the rest of the semester, achieving active member status now only requires you to have attended 1 meeting/event for spring 2020 (instead of 3)! The fundraiser portion of active member status is no longer required this semester.

If you have not attended any meetings/events up until this point of spring 2020, but would like to maintain or achieve active member status, TOMORROW'S VIRTUAL MEETING WILL COUNT AS YOUR 1 REQUIRED MEETING.

Hey Psi Chi Members!

We have now officially launched the electronic payment option for Psi Chi. 

Everyone who:
  • applied to Psi Chi;
  • was deemed eligible for membership;
  • and has not yet paid their dues 
should receive an automated email from Psi Chi with directions on how to pay the $60 one-time membership fee. This is optional! If you wish to pay your dues when we return to campus, that is completely okay.

IMPORTANT! If you choose to pay online:
  • The membership fee is $60 as opposed to the usual $55. Once we are back on campus, the membership fee will return to $55.
  • You will not be able to apply for our membership assistance fund. Unfortunately we do not have access to this fund until we are back on campus and revert back to the old processing method.

Here are some important dates to write in those planners!
  • April 14th - April 18th: Poll open for amendment voting and nominations (see email for full details regarding the amendment - link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdmdgBRrYEwVBbPvZvx-nlcqeg6HGh7DQ_J_bi2UUNO5n8rKw/viewform)
  • On Monday, April 20th, Psi Chi will be holding a virtual GBM (more info to come on this!)
  • April 20th - April 27th: Candidates must send in their statements for the election (more info to come on this!)
  • April 28th - May 2nd: Voting poll for the election will be open!
  • May 4th: Election results will be posted on myUMBC and sent out via email!
