Teaching portfolios are increasingly expected of candidates who are applying for faculty positions. During this workshop, we will discuss what goes into your portfolio, how to construct your teaching philosophy, how to highlight your accomplishments and future contribution, and what kind of supporting documents you will need.
Speaker: Dr. Linda C. Hodges, Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Director of the Faculty Development Center, UMBC Faculty Development Center.
Linda C. Hodges was Director of the Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Center for Teaching and Learning at Princeton University from 2003-2009 before retiring to Maryland.
