A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Richard Pierce and Dr. Jordan Pober in the Vascular Biology and Therapeutics Program at Yale University through the Department of Pediatrics in New Haven Connecticut. We are seeking postdoctoral fellows with experience in vascular biology. The projects involve in vitro molecular- and cellular-based studies to examine the role of small GTPases regulation of endothelial permeability changes in primary human endothelial cell cultures. Basic knowledge of human cell culture, molecular biology, genetics, RNAseq, expression analyses in cultured human cells, analysis of protein-protein interaction, IF/confocal microscopy and FACS analysis is preferred. It is expected that applicants can work at the bench independently, interpret data, and troubleshoot their experiments.
Excellent communication skills are a requirement for this position. Salary based on research experience.
