A couple of quick updates: Instead of filling out the form, please

jennyn4@umbc.edu. Unfortunately, UMSOP isn't receiving our form responses. The deadline to email me is still March 1st!
Also, our Pre-Allied Social is happening this Wednesday from 6-8 PM! You’re not required to stay the whole time, but be sure to stop by and grab some pizza and soda—we ordered plenty!
Lastly, thank you to everyone who attended today's GBM with UMES's guest speaker

UMBC Pre-Pharm Shadowing and GBMs
Hello Pre-pharmers, and happy new year!
I just wanted to notify you guys about a google form we sent out, through email to see what day you all prefer for our GBMs next semester. Pre-Pharmacy Homecoming Retriever Dawg & Family Fun Race
Hello Pre-Pharmers!
We have an exciting opportunity coming up! The Homecoming Retriever Dawg Race is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th, from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, and we're looking for volunteers from the Pre-Pharmacy Society to help out.
If you're interested in volunteering, please sign up using the link below. Volunteers who stay for the entire event will receive a Homecoming Carnival wristband and 10 carnival game tickets as a thank you!

Walk To End Alzheimer's Volunteer Opportunity
Hello Pre-Pharmers!
As a member of the Pre-Pharmacy Society we want to invite you to the Walk To End Alzheimer's. This is a collaboration event with the Students of Applied Behavior Analysis Society (SABAS) to raise awareness for Alzheimer's disease and raise money for research in the field. The Walk will take place on Saturday, September 21st, at 10am. If you are interested in joining the walk please fill out the interest form by Tuesday, September 17th by 8pm. We will be able to offer rides to Centennial Park from UMBC. More information can be found in the interest form. This is a chance to get some volunteering experience to add to your resume! We hope to see you all there!

You are invited to join the Office for Academic & Pre-Professional Advising at the 4th Annual Allied Health Symposium on April 22, 2024, at Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Building (ILBS), Room 116B, from 12 pm - 2 pm. Last GBM of the Spring 2023 Semester!
Hello Pre-Pharmers!
We just wanted to remind you that THIS Friday (5/12) is our last meeting for this semester. This time, rather than the virtual meetings we've had back to back, we are having an in-person General Board Meeting and it is from 12 PM - 12:50 PM (or may end earlier if time permits.) The location is Engineering 021.
This week's GBM will concern the classes that our president and vice president took for pharmacy school, and how their pathways (degree vs. no degree) differ in regards to the courses.
In addition, our new E-Board (executive board) will be officially announced during this GBM, so make sure to come and meet our new officers for the Fall 2023 semester!

Just wanted to let all of you know of this amazing opportunity that could definitely boost your application, as well as offer great leadership experience. The Office of Health Promotion is recruiting peer health educators for the 2023-2024 academic year to support our UMBC community!
The
Peer Health Education Program is an unpaid internship offered through the Career Center. Students who participate can earn PRAC Internship credit and a nationally recognized peer educator certification. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain skills in leadership, public speaking, and interpersonal communication. Undergraduate and graduate students from any academic background attending UMBC/s main campus are welcome to apply.
