We are excited to announce the 2025 APSA Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference at UPenn on June 21st (Saturday), 2025!

APSA (American Physician Scientists Association) is a national organization founded by physician-scientist trainees to address the needs of future physician-scientists with respect to their training and career development. Every year, regional meetings are hosted to help build the regional communities of current and future physician-scientist trainees. 

This year, UPenn is hosting the Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference for clinician-scientist trainees at all levels including physician- and veterinarian-scientist trainees, as well as undergraduates and post-baccalaureate students interested in this career pathway. There will be opportunities to: (1) hear keynote talks from renowned physician- and veterinarian-scientists, (2) present your research through podium talks and poster sessions, (3) network with fellow current and prospective trainees in the region, (4) choose from a variety of panels featuring MD/PhD and VMD/PhD program directors, research-track residency directors, scientific journal editors, and clinician-scientists who pursued diverse pathways outside of academia. We are particularly excited to share that Nobel Prize Laureate, Dr. Drew Weissman, will be a keynote speaker.
