We wanted to inform everyone that Mx. Huselton and Ms. McElroy from the Pre-Medical Advising Office have been generous enough to dedicate time for an informational session regarding the HPEC process, as well as the give information on the Medical Admissions process as a whole. This event will be taking place in-person, and is scheduled for the upcoming Friday, February 23rd from 12 - 1 PM, in ILSB 233.

We strongly encourage everyone to attend this event, regardless of whether you are applying this cycle, or in the coming years. Good Morning Everyone!

We wanted to inform that those planning on applying for the 2024 - 2025 cycle and looking to receive a committee letter must sign up for HPEC by tomorrow, February 15th. The interest form can be accessed here, and must be completed by February 15th, 11:59 PM.

The Health Professions Evaluation Committee (HPEC), is comprised of faculty from various departments, as well as advisors from the PreMedical and PreDental Advising Office. Students and alumni who participate in HPEC’s Annual Cohort process complete series of steps and exercises that help them gather, organize, and prepare the necessary documents needed for application to medical school.

For more information about HPEC, please follow this link. We plan on hosting representatives from PreMedical Advising on February 23rd, from 12PM - 1PM, regarding the medical process as a whole, as well as navigating through HPEC's process. This event will be open to all current, and prospective applicants to get an early look for what's to come.

First and foremost, we want to extend a warm welcome to all our new members who dropped by our involvement fest table.

On Tuesday, February the 13th we are hosting the United States Army for an Army Suture Clinic. This is an in-person event and will take place in ILSB201 from 11:30 - 1:30. This is a great opportunity to connect with representatives from the US Army in regards to their Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) for prospective military physicians, as well as hone your suturing skills!
