The Pre-Medical Society will be hosting Virginia Commonwealth College of Medicine on October 25th , from 2-3pm . Join us to learn more about this path and details about the MD program admission process . This session will be VIRTUAL and the link is attached down below.

UMSOM Mentorship Program
The mission of SNMA MAPS, according to the SNMA website, is to "provide underrepresented pre-medical students with knowledge and experiences that are prerequisites and concomitant to professional participation in the medical field."
The mentorship program will not only give students access to a medical student mentor, but to events such as a medical student panel and MCAT tips event.

3 - 5 PM, the PreMedical Advising Office is hosting
University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr.
Sandra Quezada, Associate Dean for Medical School Admissions, will be present. Following the panel discussion of Ethics and Integrity, Dr. Quezada, along with other faculty will be present for an admissions presentation. There will also be a UMBC alumni present, so this is a great opportunity to have direct contact with representatives from a school most likely already on your lists.

Few career fields have as significant an impact on vulnerable populations as the field of healthcare. With such tremendous responsibility, it's essential that future healthcare providers develop a strong ethical foundation during their undergraduate career. How does one develop this foundation as well as the integrity to employ an ethical framework during difficult situations? This panel aims to explore this question and others on Monday, April 29th, 3-3:45pm in UC 115.
Join Jeff Cullen Director, Student Conduct and Community Standards; Amanda Knapp Associate Vice Provost and Dean, Academic Success Center; Greg Ealick Lecturer, Department of Philosophy; and Sandra Quezada Associate Dean for Medical School Admissions, University of Maryland School of Medicine to learn more about this critical component of preparation for a career in healthcare.
Pre-Medical Students: Stay after the panel for an admissions presentation by University of Maryland School of Medicine, with a special UMBC alum guest! The admissions presentation will take place 4:00-5:00pm in UC 115.
