Summer Internship Opportunity:
A meaningful, hands-on learning experience for students interested in practicing law, particularly in family law or trusts and estates.
This is an unpaid internship designed to provide meaningful experience, close mentorship, and exposure to real-world legal practice. Duties and expectations will increase with experience and demonstrated ability.
This internship is open to students at various stages of their educational journey, including undergraduate students seeking to build practical skills and gain insight into litigation strategy while exploring their interest in law.
Depending on bacground and skill set, responsibilities may include the following:
- Observe client meetings and court proceedings when appropriate
- Assist with family law and trusts & estates litigation when appropriate
- Draft correspondence, internal memoranda, or court pleadings when appropriate
- Learn how to propound and respond to discovery
- Assist with case organization and document management
- Learn about court procedures, ethics, and client confidentiality
- Special projects aligned with your interests in family law, estate planning, or professional development
