The 2025 Women's Leadership Conference, hosted by UMBC's Political Science Council of Majors, is a dynamic workshop-style event you won't want to miss!
This event will feature a stunning panel of women leaders from diverse professional fields, followed by facilitator-moderated roundtable discussions.
It's a unique opportunity to hear firsthand how these women navigated challenges and achieved success.
Engage directly with the panelists, ask questions, and gain invaluable insights to help you on your own leadership journey.

- Sonia Su: Founder and CEO of Kits to Heart—a Howard County based non-profit organization which creates care kits for cancer patients.
- Tiffany D. Tucker: UMBC's Director of Athletics since August, 2024 and former UNC Chapel Hill Division I women's basketball star.
- Dr. Zareen Taj: Human rights activist, author, filmmaker, and recent PhD from UMBC's Language, Literacy and Culture program.
- Susan DuMont: Litigation expert for product safety and leads the pro bono committee at Miles & Stockbridge.
