Undergraduate students can apply to intern in the areas of Policy & Government Affairs; Philanthropy; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Communications; Program Operations; Data Science; and others!

BRIDGE is WWF's diversity-focused summer internship program, facilitated by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team. Launched in 2021, it is a paid internship opportunity aimed at a diverse pool of talented undergraduate and graduate students who could bring fresh thinking and innovation to the environmental sector. In particular, WWF aims to employ interns who have not previously had a breadth of professional experience.

(Paul, Weiss), is launching a new Future Leaders in Law pre-law fellowship program to encourage and help prepare interested college students with a range of lived experiences, primarily individuals from first-generation and less advantaged socioeconomic backgrounds, to apply for admission to law schools around the nation.

This program will be fully funded, with all costs covered to participate, including transportation and lodging, and preparation materials.  

Need-based assistance is available for law school application fees and LSAC's Credential Assembly Service (CAS) reports, and the LSAT administration.  In addition, a $3,000 stipend will be awarded upon program completion. 

College juniors and seniors, or recent college or university graduates, with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher and an interest in applying to law school in 2024 and enrolling in fall 2025, are eligible to apply.  

Application Deadline:  April 30, 2023, at 11:59 EDT

The Yale Law School Launchpad Scholars Program, powered by Latham & Watkins, is for applicants who are planning to apply to law school in the fall of 2024, with the goal of enrolling in law school in the fall of 2025. The program is open to current college students as well as college graduates. 

Applicants must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.3. There is no cost to apply to, or participate in, the program.

The program is open to everyone, but they especially welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including individuals who are (or will be) the first in their families to graduate from college, individuals from low-income backgrounds, members of racially and ethnically underrepresented groups, members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with disabilities, and veterans or military service members.

Scholars will be selected based on their potential for academic excellence, leadership promise, engagement with their communities, and ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse perspectives.


The program will run from August 2023 through August 2024.

There is no cost to apply to, or participate in, the program. All travel, lodging, and food expenses for in-person programming in New York City and New Haven will be covered. In addition, Scholars will receive a $3500 stipend after completion of the Residential Institute.


Applications opened on March 6, 2023 and will be accepted until June 4, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

You've probably heard that networking is important, even necessary for landing a job. But if the very thought of networking makes your palms sweaty, you are NOT alone!

That's why the Career Center and the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences have teamed up to host the 6th Annual CAHSS Career Conference (registration required). 

Students of ALL class levels and liberal arts majors are invited! 

6th Annual CAHSS Careers Conference
Date: Thursday, March 2, 2023
Time: 5:00-7:15 PM
Location: University Center, 3rd Floor

Here's what you need to know:

You will have the opportunity to connect and practice your networking skills with amazing UMBC alumni and employers in a relaxed, no-pressure setting. 

The format will be structured for "speed networking," so you'll know exactly when and who to approach.

The alumni and employers will be arts, humanities, and social science grads now working in a variety of professional careers. They are eager to get to know you!

Food will be provided.

You might even meet someone who can point you toward your next internship or job.
