<Title>Yale Law School 2024-2025 Launchpad Scholars Program</Title>

    <div class="html-content"><div><strong>Applications are open! <a href="https://law.yale.edu/launchpad" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">The Yale Law School Launchpad Scholars Program, powered by Latham &amp; Watkins</a>, provides aspiring law students with the tools and preparation to apply to law school. </strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong>Launchpad Scholars receive one-on-one mentoring, LSAT preparation, and leadership training, all at no cost. </strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong>The yearlong program aims to break down barriers to law school and the legal profession.</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Who is Eligible to Apply?</strong></div><div><div><br></div><div><ul><li>The program is for current college students as well as college graduates who are planning to apply to law school in the fall of 2025, with the goal of enrolling in law school in the fall of 2026. </li></ul></div><div><br></div><div><ul><li>Applicants must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.3 and be 18 years old by the time the program begins.</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div><ul><li>The program is open to applicants from all backgrounds, but we especially welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including individuals who are (or will be) the first in their families to graduate from college, individuals from low-income backgrounds, members of racially and ethnically underrepresented groups, members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with disabilities, and veterans or military service members.</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div><ul><li>Yale Law School is committed to equal opportunity and accessibility to all candidates who show great academic and personal promise irrespective of citizenship status. <Title>UMBC Law Review is seeking Managing Editors and Writers</Title>

    <div class="html-content"><div><strong>The UMBC Law Review will run two articles in March: (1) Recent uptick in overturned precedents (Roe v. Wade, Affirmative Action, etc.) and (2) AI Law &amp; Ethics.</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>The Law Review is seeking applicants for Managing Editors or Writers.</strong></div><div><strong><a href="https://forms.gle/KSXhAsRmPc1XrhBW9" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Submit your application here</a>.</strong></div><div><strong><br>Deadline to apply is March 15th at 11:59 PM</strong></div><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><div><strong>Managing Editor Responsibilities: </strong></div><div><ul><li>Scheduling group meetings throughout the month duration of the article. </li><li>Ensuring all group members are on track, contributing to the article, and attending group meetings. </li><li>Follow a consistent citation style for the article/make sure sources are cited (we will be adhering to the Bluebook citation style, but this will be discussed later. For now, just making sure all sources are cited).</li><li>Ensure trusted sources are used for the article. </li><li>See the article to finish (making sure page count is met, evidence is sufficient, the article is cohesive, etc.)</li></ul><strong>Writer Responsibilities: </strong><br><ul><li>Attend at least one virtual group meeting a week through the duration of the article. </li><li>Contribute sufficiently to their group's article. </li><li>Articles have a minimum page count of five pages, single space. We're seeking a team of 5-6 writers for each article, and each article will be lead by a Managing Editor. You will have plenty of support in your writing process, so don't let any of this scare you! </li></ul></div><div><br></div><div>You will be notified around March 17th if you have been selected. Groups will start on their articles the week of March 18th. Articles will be due April 12th. </div><div><br></div><div><strong>Please note that the UMBC Law Review is only open to undergraduate students at UMBC.          alumni and employers will be arts, humanities, and social science grads
         now working in a variety of professional careers. They are eager to get to

    <div class="html-content"><div><strong>The Washington University Undergraduate Law Review (WUULR) is currently accepting proposal submissions for their Spring 2024 edition and they are interested in hearing from students at UMBC.  </strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Undergraduate students at any university are eligible to <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdMTpKGcV8Bamt_kBG6PxHKqusSrOGsV-s9CggA2buSieNfvA/viewform?usp=sf_link" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">submit a proposal here</a> before the February 19th national deadline.</strong></div><div><br></div><div>Please see the message below from WUULR:</div><div><br></div><div>We want to give students the opportunity to make contributions to the field of legal writing, and to be published. </div><div><br></div><div>We are looking to publish submissions covering an array of law-related topics and perspectives, both domestically and internationally. </div><div><br></div><div>Submissions could be analyses of ongoing legal issues, proposals/solutions to legal challenges, or predicting upcoming legal topics. </div><div><br></div><div><strong>Please note that our journal is NOT restricted to social science or humanities students: we solely require that submissions have a clear legal bent. </strong></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><strong>You can find out more about WUULR<a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YoBDSK46puy2xxOsOLOVr-S2a-pBWfJzTm8uBUT9dg8/edit?usp=sharing" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"> here</a></strong>.</div></div>
