Each year, LSAC Law School Forums serve as invaluable opportunities for aspiring law students to learn about law school and connect with law school representatives. 

By attending an LSAC Law School Forum — whether in-person or online — you'll be able to connect directly with law school representatives from across North America, learn about financial aid and the law school admission process, and get answers to any questions you may have.

This year, the conference will feature BIPOC-filled panels discussing crucial topics such as financing law school, LSAT preparation, and crafting a strong law school application.

Additionally, the Law School Fair will provide students with the opportunity to meet one-on-one and message admissions officers from over 45 law schools eager to connect with them.

The Accelerator will be comprised of multiple parts to guide you through the entire applications process.

Hear from law school admissions professionals and industry experts on key application elements such as soliciting letters of recommendation, crafting personal statements, and building a resume.

Buses leave at 11:15 AM!!! 

We will arrive at GW Law by 1:00 pm and stay until 3:00 PM.  Buses depart GW Law at 3:15 pm. 

The UMBC Student Hearing Board supports Student Conduct and Community Standards and our mission, by resolving contested cases of student misconduct in a formal hearing setting. 

The Student Hearing Board resolves contested charges initiated against any student or student organization for alleged violations of the Code of Student Conduct or Code of Student Organization Conduct, determines whether the student or student organization is responsible or not responsible, as well as what the appropriate consequences will be.

Students chosen as Hearing Board Justices will receive professional training in all relevant fields including: interpretation of the Code of Student Conduct and University Policies, substantive and procedural due process, questioning techniques and skills, alcohol and other drug symptoms and recognition, and student development theory. Initial training will take place the first weekend after classes begin (August 30th-September 2nd). Training continues as needed thereafter throughout the semester.

A Google Form application can be found on our website and takes just a few minutes to complete. Past and current justices would tell you that the experience of being on the Student Hearing Board was one of the most impactful activities of their time at UMBC.
