UMBC students are invited to attend the 18th Annual Students of Color Outreach Day (SOCOD) at Georgetown Law on Saturday, November 9, 2024. 


Each year Georgetown’s Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and partnering student organizations invite prospective applicants to visit the Law Center to learn more about the experience of diverse Georgetown Law students, receive important information about the law school application process, and learn more about Georgetown’s community. 

The event is free to attend, and there will be an option to attend the event virtually.

Reminder: Pre-Law Interest Session - Today at 12 pm in PUP 354

Learn more about preparing for and applying to law school, legal careers, and pre-law opportunities at UMBC at the Pre-Law Interest Session!

This in-person session is open to students of all majors interested in learning about law school and pursuing a career in the legal profession.  

This introductory session will provide a brief overview of the following topics: exploring and preparing for law school; the LSAT; the law school application process and timeline; careers in the legal field; and the pre-law resources and support available to UMBC students.   

Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

Free snacks will be provided!
