Second-Chance Information Packet Pickup hours, Feb 24-26 Were you planning to apply to Medical or Dental school this year through UMBC's Health Professions Evaluation Committee's Fall 2021 Cohort, but missed the Kickoff Workshops on February 14th and 21st? You still have a chance to join!

Ms. Bulger will be holding Walk-In Hours for HPEC Fall 2021 Cohort Information Packet pick-up in the CNMS Dean's Office (University Center Rm 116) during the following times:

  • Monday, February 24, 11:30 am-1:30 pm and 4:00 pm-6:00 pm
  • Tuesday, February 25, 4:00 pm-6:00 pm
  • Wednesday, February 26, 3:00 pm-5:00 pm

It is expected that students who pick up packets during these times will meet ALL OTHER HPEC Fall 2021 Cohort deadlines. 

Current students who have missed both of the HPEC Fall 2021 Cohort Workshops, and pick up packets during Second-Chance Walk-In Hours will not be eligible for HPEC's Eight-Week Guarantee processing timeline.

The dates for the UMBC Health Professions Evaluation Committee's Fall 2021 Cohort Kickoff Workshops have been set! 

All currently enrolled UMBC students who plan to participate in the UMBC Health Professions Evaluation Committee process for the application cycle for FALL 2021 entry into Dental School or Medical School (MD, DO, and MD/PhD), must attend one of the following information sessions:

Friday, February 14, 2020, 12n-1p (tentative location BIOL 120)

Friday, February 21, 2020, 12n-1p (tentative location ITE 102)

Locations are still tentative at this time, but will be updated in the Events section of the PreMedical & PreDental Interest Group in myUMBC as they are confirmed.

Alumni who are not currently enrolled at UMBC have a different mechanism for expressing interest in joining the HPEC's Fall 2021 Cohort, with a February 1, 2020 deadline.
