Dr. Lee Williams and Mandi Bailey are conducting research relating to student political attitudes. They randomly selected more than 200 colleges and universities of varied size throughout the country. Our institution was selected. They asked that we share the survey link below with our undergraduate students. They want to reassure all of you that responses and participation in the study will remain completely confidential. While demographic information is being collected, no attempt will be made to associate individuals with their responses.

Next month, the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) will be hosting a LawSchool Forum  in Washington DC for prospective law students.

LSAC Law School Forums are the only events that allow prospective lawstudents to chat with up to 185 ABA-approved law school representatives in one convenient setting. Attendees also have the ability to go to exclusive workshops, including About the LSAT (Meet an LSAT Developer), Financing a Legal Education, The Application Process, Diversity Information Panel, and more.

All LSAC Law School Forums are free to attend. Each year, thousands of prospective law school students attend the forums, which make them great networking events.

Environment Maryland is hiring students to work on our campaigns this summer in College Park. We're looking for folks that are hardworking, good communicators and committed to making positive change. 

This summer our top campaign is protecting the Chesapeake Bay!

It's hard to imagine life in Maryland without the Bay-- whether it’s visiting the National Harbor, eating crabs and oysters, or taking a trip to the Eastern Shore, Maryland depends on the Bay.

Unfortunately, reckless development and other polluting industries are threatening the Bay, washing pollution and bacteria into nearby streams and marshes. In fact, over 3 million pounds of toxic waste are dumped into the Chesapeake and its connecting waterways each year. Polluting industries can get away with this uncontrolled pollution because loopholes in the Clean Water Act leave 59% of our state's rivers and streams unprotected. The US Senate will decide the fate of these waterways this summer, and we need to make sure Senator Barbara Mikulski is on the right side of the issue. 

To win this campaign, we are hiring students in Maryland to get out into communities, and build support for this issue. Over the course of the summer you can expect to make between $4,000-$6,000 and make $9-$14/HR. It's a great way to build your resume, like an internship, but you get paid.
