Chapter 22BC of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is pleased to announce that this past spring we received $114,000 from the Maryland Phi Kappa Phi Foundation to establish the Phi Kappa Phi Chapter 22-UMBC Endowment.  The purpose of the endowment is to provide awards, in the form of scholarships, fellowships, and grants in recognition of academic excellence by student members of Phi Kappa Phi Chapter 22UMBC. Students from UMBC and from the professional schools of the downtown UM campus will be eligible for these awards.  We are grateful to the Foundation for its generous support, which has greatly benefitted our chapter’s members in the past. The Foundation has now been dissolved, but through this contribution its legacy will continue.  It is expected that funds will be available for awards in the 2015 fiscal year, beginning on July 1st 2014. The Foundation also made contributions of the same size to the Phi Kappa Phi chapters at UMCP and UMUC.
