Girls will challenge their minds through coding and robotics and will nurture their bodies and well-being through meditation and self-empowerment exercises. Each day girls will enjoy daily programming classes, hands-on robotics sessions incorporating the engineering process, daily yoga instruction, hear from guest speakers, and tour the UMBC campus. Girls in grades 3 and 4 will use Tynker programming and Lego WeDo® robotics. Girls in grades 5 and 6 will use Scratch programming and Lego Mindstorms® EV3 robotics.
