UMBC Events Ticketing Staff Employees Needed!
UMBC Event & Conferences Services is looking to hire
more Ticketing Staff Employees for the 2013-2014 academic year!
Ticketing Staff are responsible for selling tickets at the door for
student organization events that are planned through our office.
Responsibilities include welcoming all guests, performers, and organizers, selling and tracking ticket sales, wrist-banding attendees, reconciling all cash transactions at the conclusion of the sale period, and depositing funds into a designated safe.
Most events will occur Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday evenings, so weekend availability is required, however;
availability during the week is also preferable. This position will
offer 5-12 hours per week. Candidates must have and maintain a 2.5 GPA.
Preference will be given to students who email Jackie Aliotta (jaliotta@umbc.edu), Events Coordinator, with their interest and resume by Friday, May 3rd 2013. Students will be interviewed on a rolling basis.
