GSA Executive Council Elections Will Happen in May!
Apply to run for a position!
The Graduate Student Association is seeking applications for executive council members who will serve throughout the next academic year from June, 2022 to May, 2023.
The following positions will be elected on May 11th, at 6:00 PM. Candidates must attend the election to be considered.
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Historian
Chair of the Graduate Assistant Advisory Committee
Chair of the Graduate Experience, Achievements & Research Symposium
Chair of the Legislative Concerns Committee
Chair of the Graduate Student Success Committee
Pairs of candidates who whish to be considered as co-chairs or co-executives should fill out one
application for the desired position.
All executive council members are expected to have an active role supporting all the work of the GSA including Graduate Senate Meetings, graduate student events and graduate student advocacy. More specific expectations of each role can be found here:

The series consists of 1 hour workshops that focus on various student centered leadership-related topics facilitated by Campus Life staff and leadership peer facilitators. This program aims to contribute to the leadership development and ongoing learning of UMBC undergraduate students.

Attendees will also learn about leadership approaches to practice when connecting with our college peers that aren’t as engaged as they may have been in the past.

In a world where effective leadership is a fundamental necessity, this session takes a holistic look at how the concept of leadership is practically applied what works, and what may be areas for growth. Conversations will be centered around transactional and transformational approaches.
