• If it's a Google doc be sure permissions are set to be viewed by everyone

• How many copies you would like

• Single or double sided (if applicable)
• Color or black & white
• Paper type, we have a couple of options:
• Our standard paper for color or b&w
• Resume paper (an additional .30 per sheet)
• If you would like to decide this in person after seeing the paper that is fine
• If you are an undergraduate or graduate student

Please note that we will only print these once you come into our office. We will treat these emails as walk-ins and won't have them printed ahead of time.

We only accept Retriever Dollars as payment. You can put cash on your card at the CIC (Commons Information Center) desk in the Lobby of The Commons or put money on your campus card via myUMBC (there is a $10 minimum).

Alternatively, you can use the mobile print kiosks to print. Instructions on how to use the kiosks may be of help. A few notes about the kiosk:

• The printers can only print in black and white
• 8.5 x 11" (letter size) is the only size it prints - any other size will cause the printer to lock up/not print so be sure to check your settings.

Be sure to give yourself enough time to have your prints completed, we will do our best to assist you in a timely manner. There will be lines and wait times the day before and the day of the Career Fair - consider printing early!

Involvement Fest is quickly approaching. commonvision (UMBC Design and Print Center) is here to help with your Involvement Fest prints! 

Please note at this time, we can offer flyers and quartercards for Involvement Fest. Other services will have a turnaround time that extends beyond Involvement Fest. 

For best consideration, please submit your flyers and quartercards by 5 p.m. Monday, February 5 via commonvision@umbc.edu. Any clubs using carryover funds will need to provide us with a completed RESGAF before printing will begin. Please note outside of chartstrings/club funds we only accept retriever dollars on your campus card.

Something to consider is printing a couple flyers that stay at your table that contain a QR code to your organization's myUMBC group. This may help us to cut down on printing demand and make sure that even if you run out of materials, you still have something people can scan.

The University System of Maryland Board of Regents and the University System of Maryland Student Council are introducing the Board of Regents Student Excellence Scholarships to recognize exceptionally talented students who are making contributions in various aspects of student life. Each awardee will receive a commemorative stole and a $2,000 scholarship to commemorate their outstanding achievements.

Scholarships will be granted to up to two undergraduate students (one first-year or sophomore and one junior or senior) and up to one graduate student from among the diverse USM student community exhibiting achievements in the following categories: (1) Leadership and Advocacy; (2) Outreach and Engagement; (3) Innovation and Creativity; and (4) Academics, Scholarship, and Research.

Students are responsible for self-nomination, and the deadline to submit an application is February 9. More information on criteria and the selection process is available here.
