CelebratingOrgs/Student Org Awards!!! Nominations extended to - 04/03 Attention UMBC student organizations!

Nominations have been extended!! 

If you've worked hard throughout the 2023-2024 academic year, you may be interested in receiving an award for your efforts! CelebratingOrgs is an annual end of year event where awards will be presented to honor and recognize student organizations for their valuable work at UMBC. The event is scheduled for May 2nd, 2024, from 7 pm-10 pm.

Nominations for awards, RSVPs, and visual content submissions are now OPEN! Student organizations can nominate their favorite organizations based on a series of categories. 

  • To nominate, simply complete the Award Nominations form.
    • Nominations for awards will close on April 3rd, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
  • If you're a student officer who would like to attend CelebratingOrgs, you can register by completing the RSVP form.
Visual Content 
We're also opening up submissions of visual content from student organizations that will be displayed in a slideshow format during the event. Pictures and videos should be relevant to your student organization such as pictures or videos from your general body meetings, your large or small-scale events your student organization did over the 2023-2024 academic year!

In addition, we're looking for student organization leaders interested in recording short, 30-second to 1-minute video clips answering a question about their experience leading a student organization. These clips will be combined into one video screening that will be presented during CelebratingOrgs. If you're interested, please fill out the attached interest form below, and a Student Government Association officer will reach out to you for further steps!

Nominations close 03/29/24 Attention UMBC student organizations!

If you've worked hard throughout the 2023-2024 academic year, you may be interested in receiving an award for your efforts! CelebratingOrgs is an annual end of year event where awards will be presented to honor and recognize student organizations for their valuable work at UMBC. The event is scheduled for May 2nd, 2024, from 7 pm-10 pm.

Nominations for awards, RSVPs, and visual content submissions are now OPEN! Student organizations can nominate their favorite organizations based on a series of categories. 

  • To nominate, simply complete the Award Nominations form.
    • Nominations for awards will close on March 29th, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
  • If you're a student officer who would like to attend CelebratingOrgs, you can register by completing the RSVP form.
Visual Content 
We're also opening up submissions of visual content from student organizations that will be displayed in a slideshow format during the event. Pictures and videos should be relevant to your student organization such as pictures or videos from your general body meetings, your large or small-scale events your student organization did over the 2023-2024 academic year!

In addition, we're looking for student organization leaders interested in recording short, 30-second to 1-minute video clips answering a question about their experience leading a student organization. These clips will be combined into one video screening that will be presented during CelebratingOrgs. If you're interested, please fill out the attached interest form below, and a Student Government Association officer will reach out to you for further steps!
