Check out OCA Mocha, UMBC’s student-created community hub in downtown Arbutus. Take a break from the start-of-semester rush in our indoor or outdoor seating; enjoy coffees, teas, and seasonal drinks; and try our breakfast items and sandwiches, including plant-based options.
Join us to learn about how a group of UMBC students brought to life their vision for a place “where coffee meets community,” and tour our study and gathering areas, art gallery, and entertainment stage. We will also be making coffee-themed friendship bracelets!
UMBC Transit provides free hourly transportation from the intersection of Park Road and Poplar Avenue on campus to the OCA Mocha stop in Arbutus. Check Transit Tracker for times and status.
