Free Farmer's Markets start again 2/2! Want to volunteer?
Retriever Essentials, AOK Library, and So What Else are partnering up again this semester to bring you Free Farmer's Markets!
NEW LOCATION
Due to the cold weather, AOK Library has graciously agreed to let us use the loading dock for this event through March. To find the loading dock: from inside the library, exit through the front doors. Turn left and walk alongside the building (past the RLC, toward the parking lot). Turn left at the end of the building and you will see a driveway. That's the loading dock. If you would like a nearby pin in Google Maps, search for 1046 Walker Ave, Baltimore, MD 21250.
The event starts at 2:15 PM and lasts until 3 PM or until food runs out.
**Bring your own bag!**
Volunteers: to volunteer, you must
sign up here. Please plan on being present from 1:45 to 3:15.
Please note that fresh produce will be limited during the colder months and will be substituted with shelf-stable/non-perishable items.

UMBC Transit will be operating on an interim schedule Saturday, January 28th & Sunday, January 29th. The Spring 2023 schedule begins Monday, January 30th.

UMBC Inclement Weather and Emergency Guidelines
Thursday, December 15, 2022. UMBC Transit services is delayed two hours to allow for the treatment and cleaning of our bus routes. Please see the following start times below:
Routes:
Arbutus: 9:00am
BWI MARC: 8:45 AM
Catonsville: 9:00 AM
Downtown: 9:00 AM
Courtney Rd.: 9:30 AM
Paradise: 9:00 AM
Transit Tips:
- Please do not run to catch your bus. Allow yourself extra time to walk to your local bus stop and exercise extreme caution when boarding UMBC Buses.
Thursday, December 15, 2022. There is a winter weather advisory in effect across our region with sleet (freezing rain) overnight into Thursday morning. Depending on road conditions, UMBC Transit may be subject to delays, suspension of service, and or closure. We will assess road conditions on an hourly basis.
