Upcoming Student Org Tabling Opportunity with OCSS
Looking for new members? Sign up to table at our org fair!
Off-campus students, including transfers, commuters, adult learners, and veterans, often miss out on the benefits of being involved in on-campus student organizations. To help bridge this gap, Off-Campus Student Services is holding an Organization Fair on Wednesday, October 18th to bring student organizations together and give off-campus students an opportunity to meet and learn about your organizations. The aim is to spark their interest and encourage them to become more involved beyond academics.
If your organization is interested in participating in this event, please complete the form provided by 11:59 pm on September 30th. Further details will be provided once the form is submitted.

InterACT is a 5-week dialogue program for UMBC students. This is a cohort experience designed to help students develop the skills to engage in difficult dialogue across differences. Students will meet in small groups and with peer facilitators for a short, weekly session to learn foundational dialogues skills, and to practice empathetic and generous listening, cross-cultural storytelling, and critical self reflection.

Pick up location will be on the right side of University Commons (UC) by the ATM, in a blue bin inside the farthest right double doors, and you will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup!
- The Free Farmers Market on Thursday at 2:15pm, as always outside the library on the right side
- Southwest Emergency Services is located within walking distance of campus at 1201 Maple Ave and is open every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9am to 12pm.
- If you are a US citizen, you may qualify for SNAP, federal money for free groceries! Today, Thursday, August 17, 2023, there will be an event at the Arena. Expect heavier than usual traffic in the area of the Arena between 11 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 5 pm.
Delays are expected on all transit routes during these times. For the real-time location of our buses, please see UMBC Transit Tracker.
Non-Transit Riders ~
If you're driving, please follow all police directions and use caution while traveling. Expect heavy traffic in the area, and always yield to pedestrians. Avoid UMBC Boulevard and utilize alternative entrances/exits such as Hilltop Road, Walker Avenue, and Poplar Avenue.
