During our discussions, we explored essential aspects of UMBC Transit, including route evaluations/optimization, transit features, the bus procurement process, and the launch of our new transit app. You can find additional information about the Transit app here  and download it here. We were incredibly excited to share updates about the success of our Paradise route, our commitment to optimizing services based on data-informed decisions, and our ongoing efforts to enhance the commuting experience for all riders.

Your feedback, particularly on improving campus accessibility and regional collaboration, is not just appreciated but crucial. It plays a significant role in shaping the future of our transit services and ensuring a safe, reliable, and responsive transportation system for the UMBC community. We eagerly anticipate further developing our services, including evaluating the suggestions for additional campus stops and exploring regional partnerships.

Dear UMBC Community and Valued Riders,

As we gear up for the Fall 2024 Career Fair today, we anticipate heavy traffic on campus. To ensure a smooth commute for all, we strongly advise all riders and members of the campus community to plan their trips and arrive early.

Additionally, we want to keep you informed that we expect heavy ridership on our Paradise Route, which operates every 20 minutes. To ensure you are well-prepared, please plan to take the bus a few hours before the start of the Career Fair to avoid delays.

We are grateful for your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Your proactive approach will not only ensure your timely arrival but also contribute to the smooth running of the Career Fair. With the announcement of the campus water main break, we had to modify today's Good Afternoon Commuters to a grab & go. Please stop by the Graduate Student Life office beginning at 12 noon, in Commons 308 to pick up a meal to-go! 

Meals will be available on a first come first serve basis.
