We are excited to announce the State Employee Benefits
Division will be hosting a series of Virtual Open Enrollment Events over the
next 4 weeks.
- 8-9 sessions a day
- Sessions are carrier specific (noted at the end of each
link) i.e., w/ United Concordia
- Join as many as you like, no need to register in advance!
- Sessions will provide a quick overview of the program and
then take questions

Focus Group Volunteers Needed
The Office of Workplace Learning, OD & Wellness is inviting members of the UMBC community to participate in a focus group on Thursday October 13. The intention is to create a training program for faculty and staff to improve work life balance.
The focus group discussion will center around individuals' definition of work life balance and will identify specific content areas to be developed for future programming.
There will be two in person sessions. A morning focus group and an afternoon focus group.

New Hours for The Essential Space
Change in hours for the Fall Semester start Monday 9/20
Starting this Monday, September 20th, The Essential Space in RAC 235 will have a slight change in hours. We are still open 4 days per week. The new hours are:- Mondays & Wednesdays: 12 PM to 6 PM
- Tuesdays & Thursdays 10 AM to 4 PM
These will be our hours for the entire semester. Please check our
website and
Instagram for information about days we will not be open.
