Brainstorm: Re-organize myUMBC Discussions
If you had to pick 12 categories max, what would they be?

We have a brainstorming challenge for you all this Friday...
We currently organize myUMBC Discussions using the same set of topics that we use to organize campus resources under the Topics menu. Since the Topics menu is meant to categorize university resources and discussions cover anything anyone wants to talk about, using topics doesn't feel like the best fit moving forward.
With the goal of making it easier for people to find discussion they are more likely to be interested in, we'd be curious how you think we should organize the discussions. So, in the comments, give us a list of the categories you'd use to classify myUMBC discussions.
Guidelines:
- Preferably no more than 12 categories and no less than 6
- Categories should have broad audience appeal (students/faculty/staff/alumni)
- Categories should reflect the types of discussions people are having but also inclusive of discussions people should be having
- Any other ideas are welcome as well!
Have at it...
