Single Carrot Theatre seeks qualified sound designers for two productions in its upcoming season: The Year of the Rooster by Eric Dufault, and Midlife, by Ben Hoover. Sound designers are responsible for producing audio effects, scoring the show, and collaborating with the rest of the production team to realize the director's production concept through design. The ideal candidate is familiar with QLab, a good team player, and comfortable working in highly collaborative environments. Costume designers are responsible for both designing and building costumes, as well as collaborating with the rest of the production team to realize the director's production concept through design. The ideal candidate is a team player willing to build costumes in addition to designing, and dreams big while managing a limited budget.

Center Stage seeks an Artistic Administrator. The Artistic Administrator is a member of the artistic staff, primarily responsible for the communication and fiscal management of the artistic budget. They are the primary point of contact and responsible party with Actors Equity Association, Society of Stage Directors, the local musicians union and the contracts associated with each, as well as the contracting of miscellaneous artistic consultants. Additionally responsible for the organization of local and union required auditions.

SEEKING MARKETING INTERN

Single Carrot Theatre is seeking current college students and recent college graduates for a Marketing Intern to work 10-20 hours a week during the 2015/2016 season.

UMBC Special Collections is excited to announce the opening of a new online exhibit featuring the work of photographer John G. Bullock. “The Photography of John G. Bullock” exhibit, curated by Sarah Klimek, contains 81 digitized photographs, presents an overview of nearly four decades of Bullock’s photography, and highlights some of the major themes that defined his work in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This exhibit is the first completed photography exhibit to be displayed on the UMBC Special Collections Online Gallery, https://umbcspecialcollections.culturalspot.org/home, a new online photography exhibition site designed to showcase some of the remarkable and unique collections held within Special Collections.

Auditions for openings in the Baltimore Choral Arts Symphonic Chorus for the 2015-16 Season will be held the week of Labor Day. Scheduling will begin in late July.

The Symphonic Chorus rehearses Monday evenings throughout the season and is scheduled to perform with the Baltimore Symphony on several different engagements during the 2015-16 season
