Hello MTC! Here are some updates on elections, future events, and Small Fall as we approach the end of the semester
EXECUTIVE BOARD ELECTIONS
Want to run for the 2025-26 E-Board? Fill out this Interest Form by Friday at 12pm! Candidates will have the opportunity to read their speech in-person during the Friday GBM! (12pm ILSB 237).
SMALL FALL DIRECTOR APPLICATION:
Small Fall is a student directed show with 2-10 cast members. To apply to be a director for our 2025 production, you must apply with a show already in mind and present information on it. You will then be interviewed by the new board!

Hi everyone! If you are new to MTC this semester welcome and if you aren’t new welcome back! We are so excited to get this spring semester started so please read below for all of the information you need!

MAMMA MIA AUDITIONS
Auditions for our Spring Musical Mamma Mia are now open! All applicants are required to fill out the form. You can audition in person or virtually.
When: Wednesday 2/12 from 4pm-8:30pm
Where: Sherman 006
Audition form
If you are auditioning in person: Sign up for a slot using the SignUpGenius linked in the form. Please come prepared with 30 seconds of a musical theatre song and be ready to perform the dance audition.
If you are auditioning virtually: Submit both your singing and dance audition by 8:30pm on 2/13.
There will be two parts to this audition: a vocal and a dance part if you are comfortable with doing so! The videos to learn the 30 second dance will be in both the virtual and in-person audition sections at the end of this form. If you are submitting a virtual audition, please submit two separate videos as will be listed in your section.
This form is mandatory for any audition, virtual or in-person.
MAMMA MIA CALLBACKS
Callbacks will be held for Mamma Mia the next day, if you receive an email to be called back you are invited to do so.
When: Thursday 2/13 7pm-9pm
Where: Apartment Community Center (ACC) Gold room
Information on who is called back will be sent out the night of auditions
GENERAL BODY MEETINGS
Come on out and hang out with us and other club members at the general body meetings. We play games, hold workshops with other clubs and provide a lot of information on our upcoming shows and events.
When: Every Friday from 12:00pm-12:50pm
Where: ILSB (Interdisciplinary Life Science Building) 237
This Friday 2/7 will be our first one. It will be an audition workshop and a chance to meet the E-Board.

TRAIL TO OREGON AND MAMMA MIA
THE TRAIL TO OREGON TICKETS
Join us for MTCs annual small fall show The Tail to Oregon. The Trail to Oregon is a comedy that follow's a family as they make their way down the Oregon Trail. Who knows what kind if wacky adventures they will have? This show also encourages you guys as the audience to pick the names of the wagon party AND you get to vote on someone to due at the end. So if you see it more than once the show is different every time!
Dates: Friday December 6th at 8pm and Saturday December 7th at 1pm and 8pm

Showcase 2024 has officially come to a close. The board would like to thank all involved including tech, directors, actors, and all of the audience members that came out to see us! Below is a special statement from our wonderful president Kim.
Hello everyone! I want to take a moment to thank everyone who was a part of Showcase this year! We put on an amazing show thanks to the energy and excitement that all of you brought to our rehearsals, tech week, and of course the shows! I love making memorable moments with all of you, returning members and our many new faces! MTC is truly lucky to have such talented and creative people to work with.
We are also thankful to everyone who came out to support our show as well! Thank you all for your ongoing dedication and enthusiasm for our club!

HALLOWEEN PARTY
Join us for a night of fun and dress up in you best costume for a chance to win a spoooky prize (oooh and ahhh).
RSVP form is required so we can have an accurate headcount.

HEROES VS VILLAINS SHOWCASE
Join us for MTCs annual fall showcase! This year's theme is Heroes versus Villains. Our showcase is a collection of student-directed musical numbers that fall into this year's theme. Including songs from Hamilton, Tangled, and more!!
When: Friday ,October 18th at 8pm and Saturday October 19th at 2pm and 8pm
Where: Fine Arts Recital Hall
How much does it cost?: Tickets are FREE for UMBC students and cost $7 for general admission
