TOMORROW, it's HIJAB LIVE and PURPLE HIJAB DAY! Come stop by our table to try on hijabs (and kufis/kefayyas for the dudes) and discuss women's rights in Islam! We encourage everyone to WEAR the color PURPLE, as it is currently Women's History Month! Purple symbolizes justice and dignity--two values strongly associated with women's equality.
There will be a table in Commons on Mainstreet from 11am-2pm, so come out (in your favorite purple gear), and show your support! We'll be selling purple scarves at the table as well, for just $7 each.
ALSO, we will have Dhuhr congregation prayer on the Commons Terrace at 1:30pm both tomorrow and Wednesday for IAW, iA!
BROTHERS, the weekly discussion with Br Amer Nazar will still be held from 7-9PM in MP103, so be sure to attend that!
