As we near the end of the Fall 2014 semester, we invite you all to ourSEMESTER FINALE EVENT!
Please join us this coming Wednesday, November 19th in the University Ballroom from 6-9 PM in sha Allah!
Please note that Open Spaces will take place as usual, earlier that day, from 12-1PM in the IFC. And as noted in the margin, Dhuhr congregation will be held at 1:30PM (only on Wednesdays).
It will be an enlightening discussion on the "Image of Islam" -- how Islam is portrayed through different means in the media, how we ourselves influence that image, and how WE can improve it!
We have a nice line-up of speakers, includingSheikh Mikaeel Ahmed Smith from Islamic Society of Annapolis;Sister Zainab Chaudryfrom CAIR; and our MC,Haris Qudsi, 2nd Year Seminary Student at the Al Rahmah Quran Academy at ISB.
In addition, there will be a Q&A session with the speakers, as well as interactive group activities!
*Non-UMBC students may park in Lot 22, free of charge, without a permit!*
