The MSA would like to announce a few special events and activities (Eid-related) that are taking place this week and next week in sha Allah! Please join us!
Our weekly activities are on schedule as usual, including Open Spaces, tomorrow (10/1/14) during free hour in the IFC!
Sisters' Mehndi Night! --TOMORROW
Mehndi will be done free of charge, but please bring your own mehndi cones. If you are able to bring extra cones, it would be much appreciated! Also, if you or anyone you know is willing to do mehndi on others, please let us know!
As mentioned above, the Final Potluck Iftaar will be taking place around 6:45pm, so we encourage you to stay for that and bring a dish to share!

Donate to Muslimat Al-Nissa!
In sha Allah the MSA is collecting Eid donations throughout this week for the children (ages range between 2-15 years old) at Muslimat Al-Nissa. There is a big blue box in the IFC, as you walk in.
You may contribute in the following ways:
- Donate DVDs, VHSs, and XBOX games that are suitable for younger children. There will be a box in the IFC for this.
- Donate games/toys/books that are in good condition to the box in the IFC.
- Donate gently used coats or clothing for these children to the box in the IFC.
- If you would like to donate money to the shelter, please contact a cabinet member, or email umbcmsa@gmail.com, or you may donate online at http://mnisaa.org/donate

Join your brothers and sisters for a potluck here at UMBC
and enjoy post Eid celebrations!!!
It will be a potluck-style picnic right outside of the IFC!!!

Join the UMBC MSA for our next MAJOR event: an interactive and fun discussion on the role of community service in Islam!!
We have an amazing line up of speakers that will be revealed over the next few weeks!
The main program will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the University Center Ballroom, with prayer being held in Room 312!
