End your year with something truly special—Come experience and enjoy a wonderful winter ball with the UMBC Russian Club! Ballroom attire is highly encouraged. This event, the fourth in our winter series,is unlike any other at UMBC, with over 80 performers and 9 interactive performances. 

 This winter, we will take an imaginary journey around the world, led by Leo Tolstoy, who will share some of his memories and impressions with the UMBC campus.  The evening will feature Georgian Ensemble TBILISI, who will be making a special trip to our campus from their engagement in New York City.  Our journey will also feature selections from The Nutcracker-- performed by the Classical Ballet Theatre of Maryland, modeling international costumes by designer, Tatiana Cole.  We will also enjoy classical and folk music performances by the "Music Pilgrim “Trio.  A phenomenal meal will be catered by a local central-Asian restaurant – Silk Road.
